I watched the rivermaya reunion for free!

HOW IT HAPPENED?

So before the reunion news exploded, I was already a member of their official facebook group. 1 or 2 months before the show, the group announced a contest for a video promotion challenge. As a videographer, and as a super fan of the band, I decided to give it a go. It was actually a group effort where you have to form a group with other members, but me not knowing anyone from the group, i decided to join with random people. But the group i joined in wasn't really cooperative, none of them made the effort to come up with ideas or even respond to chats. Our group wasn't able to submit an entry and i think more than 10 people were awarded with free tickets. So i decided to create a video promotion on my own even the contest ended hoping i would get attention. When i posted the video on FB, it was noticed by Rivermaya's manager Ms Kaka Castillo. I was awarded a gold ticket. She was even kind enough to give me another ticket for my wife but i honestly told Ms Kaka i was only going alone as my wife was heading to Australia.
