Meet Luiza.
Back in late 2009 (Singapore), i was still practicing basic photography. I was using Canon 50D with basic knowledge in lighting, i was looking for some models in Model Mayhem to further enhance my skills. I found Luiza. Back then, she doesn’t have a decent modelling portfolio so we both agreed to an X-deal photoshoot. I quickly contacted my friend Phetz and Bib (both photographers as well) to accompany me ‘coz i don’t want to mess up with such a potential model. When we first met Luiza, she was the tallest amongst us. We offered breakfast before the shoot, some people are already head turning to Luiza, and some people were looking at us wondering what we’re doing with such a beautiful lady. We had some casual talk which is good, we want her to be comfortable around us. We’re excited and we know she’s excited too. We then went to the location and started the shoot. I couldn’t believe my eyes, it was one of the most perfect smiles i’ve ever seen. She’s so bubbly and photogenic, makes me think she’s born to do modelling. Early 2010, i asked her again for another X-deal photoshoot, but this time indoor. Glad she said yes. We did the photoshoot at Phetz’ house in Tampines. This time we asked our friend Ember a MUA so she can do makeup for Luiza. Here’s some of my shots. —–>
Luiza is like a pearl in the open sea, we’re very lucky we met her. Luiza will always be on top of my favorite models i’ve worked with. I hope to see her again one of these days.
