geneva switzerland
When Nikki ask me to be their wedding photographer / videographer, I was super ecstatic. Even though I (Tomorrow Keeps) didn't have enough bookings and I was only doing freelance jobs for the past few years, suddenly the very first debutant (2013) that I covered reached out.
But as we all know, Switzerland is the most expensive country in the world. Getting my team to Switzerland wasn't cheap so Nikki and I did a lot of negotiations. I would prefer to bring along 2 photographers and 3 videographers plus assistant as my minimum team members (in the Philippines, it could reach up to 10 team members. 3 photographers, 3 videographers, 2 editors, 2 assistants). But we concluded to bring 2 videographers including myself and 1 photographer. I have to bring along Kaye as my assistant at our own cost. It was also their first time to visit Europe so we were at risk but fortunately we all got our Schengen Visa.
Thowback to June 2013, Nikki's 18th birthday
11 years later, we're here in Geneva Switzerland, covered her wedding with Miggy.
What a blast!!!
Unfortunately for us, we were super busy, we didn't have enough BTS for ourselves.
But it did paid off, us 4 managed to get the job of 10 people. Whew!!!
We were so happy we get to see the most expensive country in the world, and it was not just expensive, it was truly beautiful.
We also managed to visit Chamonix and Annecy, France.
We didn't want to leave Switzerland, but we have no choice..... huhuhu!
But of course thanks to our couple Miggy & Nikki for bringing us here. We were truly thankful for the once in a lifetime opportunity.
