A VERY CHALLENGING WEDDING TO FILM

This is one of my most unforgettable weddings. I really wanted it to be perfect because it's one of my first clients for Tomorrow Keeps. However a lot of challenges came along the way, including the very fast schedule because it's a morning wedding. Most of the afternoon weddings in the Philippines, we shoot preps for 4-5 hours, we have to shoot theirs at less than 3. Our call time at the Manila Peninsula Hotel is at 6am, and we weren't able to shoot right away. Somehow a lot of delays happened including the make up which started around 7am. They want us to be at the church at 9:30 so my expectations are very low in terms of content.

Thank god the coordinator Events Republic is very easy to work with. They jived with me and my team.

The couple also wanted everything to be minimalist. They don't have a full entourage so no bridesmaids and groomsmen. They don't want photo-ops in the church and no recessional. They also don't want post-nups. These concerned me alot which made me sleepless the night before. They want more time to mingle with their guests. Luckily, they agreed for some, i was relieved. The only thing left me worrying was the reception where initially they don't want to do first dance which is a major part of editing an SDE. We arrived at the reception around 1pm where I only have 2 hours left to edit the film because we agreed to show the SDE at 3pm. Thankfully I was able to show the film and it was very well appreciated.
