After running some errands in New York, i knew i’ll get hungry so i decided to look for something i haven’t tried before, The Halal Guys. It was easy to see this guys near MOMA, just look for a food truck with a long queue and you’ll immediately know it’s them.
Delicious indeed! I once had a Lamb over rice on an unknown stall near Times Square and paid $7 but the serving was half of this, and the lamb was just sliced from a piece of sausage. The Halal Guys’ food is absolutely the winner, with the same price of $7, you get twice the serving, really good serving of meat with pita.
Here’s the picture after consuming about 15%, and i was already full. I tried to put some of the hot sauce and it was a big mistake for me. Their hot sauce is too strong. At around 5pm, it was too early for me to go home so i walked around Manhattan and thought of having a New York donut. So i checked Yelp and found the nearest donut stall i can find and i ran into Dough.
I found City Kitchen, it’s like a food court with many choices but i’m here for the donuts.
It was huge, i couldn’t finish my donut but i’m happy my craving for sweets was successful.
